Yeah, I'm on 9.0c too... Does any one know what an emulator like that would need to check / activate before anything else?

Ah yeah, let's get a video card list going.

I've got a Radeon HD 4670.

also have a few even older cards lying around including a Rage Pro 128 All in Wonder PCI. Like to have enough gear on hand to build a shitty PC if I have the use or feel like tinkering.
So does SSF work for you?

Yes it does (on my 6600GT box). Mostly just on RPGs and 2D games like the super-cool Nippon only Symphony of the Night. Games like Clockwork Night or Astal that use a lot of 3D in an action environment are terribly unplayable.

that's on an Athlon 3200+ w 2meg DDR.

I think I have the solution. My problem was similar, but I also had a dialog box pop up complaining about Xaudio2.cpp not being found and some stuff.

All I had to do was run the directx updater thingy. Prototype seems to have this problem, too. I found this fix as a fix for Prototype, but it works just fine for SSF. Both XP Pro x86 and 7 Ultimate x64 were fixed by the same updater, too. (I just built a new computer, and I'm dualbooting with both OSes.)

They said Saturn emulation could never be done. Yeah right. Fighters Megamix and Daytona USA CCE run great after I did the maximum compatibility option. Daytona's got background flicker, but you don't notice that when you're racing! Anyway, I forgot how crappy Daytona looks compared to the direct3d patched Daytona USA Deluxe for the PC. Oh well, it's still good times

I've got to try more of my games later!

Ah, so it was perhaps DirectX? I'm surprised it didn't shoot up an error or something.
