Yeah, there's something kinda nice about reinstalling everything, even if it does take forever. If you have any problems with the case, feel free to PM me, since the only real difference in what you're putting together from what I just built is the motherboard.

I'll just reply to this thread instead. :P

I do have a question about cable length, since I'm going to buy some round cables to go inside of the case. Would a pair of 18" IDE round cables work for the two CD/DVD-ROM drives + two HDs, or would it be stretching it way too tight?

And you said that the wiring is semi-difficult...please explain.

Yup - I got a pair of 18" rounded cables. It's a bit weird doing the bending in the 3.5" drive bays, but I also put both drives in very close together.

Well, not so much difficult as cumbersome. There are a LOT of power connectors inside and it's sort of a pain to keep 'em all straight.

Err, presumably some devices might deviate from the norm, so it's best to just plug the IDE cable in such that the red stripe is on the same side as the little "1" marker on the board itself.

That and the fact that pretty much any cable and/or drive produced in the last 5+ years or so is "keyed" so it only properly fits in one direction. Sure you could probably force it in the other way, but if you have to force it in, that should likely tell you something.
