Need help ripping battle voices from Lunar 2:Eternal Blue

First of all, hi, I'm new to the forum.
And second.. the primary reason I came here.

I've been trying for years to rip the battle voices from Lunar 2: Eternal Blue ( playstation version, but that doesn't really matter much ).
But it just doesn't seem to work. I've tried all the tools I could find, but in the end all I managed to get was the audio from the movies and some extra stuff that was in the V.xa and W.xa files. also like 2500+ files from Data.DAT that were a set of 100 or so sound effects over and over...
I would REALLY appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction.

Btw, I'm currently running Windows 7 ( since my old computer broke ) so I may not be able to use all the tools anymore
