I think I've seen the site they're talking about, and AFAIK they have some sort of check-out system. Whereas, they only check-out the number of copies they physically have.

Well, my thoughts are this. You get a used NES, you might as well try to get the pins cleaned before replacing the connector all together. If that doesn't work, then all you wasted was your time.

After installing a new 72 pin connector for my NES and scrubbing the pins on all my carts, I have a perfectly working NES! It's so unbelievable! It works better than the original NES my parents...
