Here's the deal. If you had 0 posts and if you hadn't logged in in over 90 days, I removed you. Around 3,000+ accounts were axed during this process. If you feel that your account was removed in error, please re-register (it's not like you posted anything anyway, no big loss, right? ;p)
edit: whoops I meant last login, not age of account

See if there's any way you and your crew can also put up a filter for bots.

Does this purge removed users from the old Zophar's Domain or contributors? I've seen that some savestate contributors had never posted in the new Zophar. For example, ReyVGM, who is a member of Zophar's Domain since 2004, has posted nothing in the new Zophar but has sent several savestates. I'm guessing some other contributors could be in a similar situation. Since nobody watched over contributors of savestates, translations, hacks, etc, perhaps some valuable members were removed without taken into account if they had contributed something instead of posting in the forum.

well admittedly, there was bound to be a few erroneous deletions. Like I said though, if that was the case, then reregistering shouldn't be that difficult.
interestingly though, he's still there o_O
update: oh wait I believe I had it set to if they didn't log in in the past 90 days.... haha ^_^

Were there post counts in the wwwthreads system, or whatever it was called? My old account is still here, but I only posted on it once, back around the time of the release of the Der Langrisser translation release.

"MASSIVE" and "prune" in the same topic is hilarious.

But you don't intend to delete users who just missed to log in within 90 days? oO
I sometimes don't have the time to come here! That's because of my work load. I would be really disappointed to see my account wiped out, when I come back and try to log in....
just my 2 cents.

It only applied to names which had not placed any posts. You should be safe for now.

As long as it was only 0 post accounts, that seems fine.

There must have been a lot of zero post users.

Now I don't remember if I had to re-register, but I still have all my 3 year old PMs. So I guess not.
Oh and by the way, I didn't just send a 'few savestates', almost half of the saves posted on the site were sent by me back when death adder and narvik were in charge of the section :P
Narvik even kept a few hundred saves I sent him that he never posted. I lost them all on a harddrive crash too, so they're lost forever.

;_;
well you have Swampgas to blame for those lost saves due to the fact that the site was managed like shit back then.
also there are 2 types of computer users in the world. Those who back up, and those who have never had a hard drive crash. ;p
Hey, I back up and I've never had a hard drive crash.
I keep seeing this "massive prune" topic and chuckling.

Don't blame him for everything. ZD sure had it's problems, but not all of them were at his hand.
