This happened to someone I know. I found it interesting.
So I work in this deli making sandwiches. One of the girls up front with the cash registers and customers and stuff is a vegan/vegetarian/hippie or something like that. And she's a bitch. Vegetarian/hippie + Bitch = HATE. We always hear all kinds of crap from her about animal rights and shit, but we usually just ignore her. The last day I worked (there's a reason its literally the LAST day I worked at said deli) I had just fucked up a math test earlier in the day, been up late as hell the night before, and generally in a pissy mood. Needless to say I wasn't in any state of mind to hear her weepy, leftist shit. As I was weighing out meat for sandwiches from a large container, probably holding about 30-35 pounds of meat, she came back into the kitchen. Evidently there were no customers for her to badger or something. She started giving me the 411 on the way animals are slaughtered, blah, blah, blah. I gave her an honest warning, something along the lines of "Leave me the fuck alone I've had a bad day." She gave me some smart ass reply along the lines of "Negative energy from the meat and slaughtered animals making me angry."
This did not sit well with me. I believe I swore at her trying to get her out of the kitchen (irony at its best, a man ordering a woman OUT of the kitchen). When she started talking again, I reached into my meat bucket and took out an armful. I think she got as far as "What are you -" Before I had crossed over to where she was standing and slammed a huge armload of meat on to her.
After laughing at how horrified she was, I took off my apron and left. By the time I got home, there was already a message on my answering machine asking me not to come in the next day.
