Wow, I'm surprised. Ever since E3 has been closed to the public, I've lost interest...that is, until now. Microsoft unveiled a whole load of shit: Gears of War 2, Fallout 3, and Final Fantasy XIII for Xbox 360 FTW! Eh, Nintendo revealed ANOTHER cheesy add-on for the Wii: the "WiiMotionPlus" (Try saying that 5 times fast!). Thus far, Microsoft is kicking ass...and saying "Screw taking names!".

Obviously, fanboyism here. :p
I didn't bother to watch any of the press conferences, way too boring for me. But I've seen a few things that sparked my interest.
Wii Sports Resort. If it's gonna be 20/30 Euro I'll pick it up. Otherwise I'll get it via Torrent. Wii Sports is nice, but not worth my 60 Euros.
Animal Crossing - City Folk.
Animal crossing, love it or hate it. I'm loving it, this will be mine too.
Mega Man 9.
Shouldn't need more words than that.
Harvest Moon - Island of Happiness. I guess my old DS will get some more love too.
That new Sonic Unleashed trailer was looking good as well. Sonic Adventure, Sonic Heroes and what ever the names of the other 3D games were, they sucked balls. I hope we get to see the old Sonic again.

OBJECTION!
that game would be useless without the Wiimotion plus accessory!

Reaper Man if you are replying to my posts don't bother. You are on my ignore list, pretty pointless to say anything to me as I won't read your messages anyway.
Now that I've said that, anyone seen the latest SFIIHD trailer?? This is looking excellent. I've got some doubts about the new fighters, but Chun Li is looking mighty fine, I can't wait to play this game. ^_^

Actually I'm finding it kind of boring. I mean I still haven't seen anything on the Wii, I either didn't see before E3, or I actually wanted to see more of. Such a nuisance, haven't look at the Castlevania Jugdment trailer though.
So what is Nintendo doing for the holiday season outside of Animal Crossing again? ... Oh right Wario Land: Shake It and Captain Rainbow... Wait really that's what they meant by supporting "Hardcore" gamers. Where's Kid Icaris and Pikmin 3?
Oh well, I still have Tales of Symphonia 2 as a must buy, shouldn't worry that much.

Soushkin, that would be Street Fighter IV that you linked to, not Street Fighter II HD.

Well, yeah, that's what I meant. SFIV. :p Simply screwed up there, nothing more. lol.
As for Nintendo, they found the big money and dropped their longtime fans in favor of it. This E3 was just poor, Nintendo promised us things but they didn't deliver. Oh, wait, we go Mario Kart Wii and Smash Brothers, that's enough for us for a whole year.
Or we can buy ancient games for the Virtual Console. Fuck you Nintendo. I already bought those games ages ago, I'm not gonna buy those again. Besides that, that's just more of rehashing the old crap. Something Nintendo is very good at.
And yea, I too was expecting the new Kid Icarus game to be announced, instead we get some snowboarding game and some other useless junk. Oh, wait, they said they are WORKING on new Mario and Zelda titles. WTF?? That's nothing we can get our hands on until atleast a year from now, if not longer. I feel let down by Nintendo bigtime this E3, but then again, there were no real big announcements at all, from anyone.
To say thanks to Nintendo for letting us down I will not buy one single game for either Wii or DS, I'll go the way of the Torrents. Obviously Nintendo doesn't want my money, so I'm not giving it. I can spend it on many other things. Once Nintendo comes up with something actually worth my money I'll buy it, otherwise it's Torrents for me and they won't get a dime. I've got no problems at all with that.

Maybe Nintendo doesn't think it's worth revealing stuff too early? There are bigger things than E3... I think.

Well I don't think it's as bad as all that. I think Nintendo did pull several mistakes here.
1) Showed off Wario Land: Shake It to the Japanese press a month prier
2) Didn't ready a single Pikmin 3 screen shot even though they are clearly working on it
3) Decided E3 was for the casual audience even though the gaming press are some of the most "Hardcore" gamers around
4) Said they are still supporting their "Core" gamers and there are games, but failed to mention they're not made by Nintendo and are for the DS. Damn GTA for DS crap, we want Wii games already. Enough with the DS games
5) Failed to hype any of the projects they do have out side of Animal Crossing.
6) Failed to give us their Fall/Winter line up, having to wait to October doesn't cut it.
Seriously now that all the big projects they were working on are finished it's like they've gone totally silent. This super secretiveness isn't cutting it. What did they tell the gaming press they couldn't mention for months on end? It baffles me, Animal Crossing, Wario Land, and Captain Rainbow can't be it. We knew the first and the last is immediately unpopular just by its name.

This right here is why I'm waiting for PAX. I'll get all the interesting news there and I CAN ACTUALLY ATTEND THE EVENT.

Like I said, Microsoft seemed to have the most going for them this year, in my opinion. But as for me personally...
Tokyo Game Show FTW!

Pertaining to Final Fantasy XIII...
They also mentioned that the company is working hard to make sure that the Blu-ray version of the game, which is coming to the PS3, is in no way superior to the DVD one which will arrive for Xbox 360 players. They say Square Enix is seeking new ways "to compress the prerendered movies and voice that take up a lot of data in ways that don't affect the final product. As for the in-game visuals, we're going to look for ways to ensure that the quality remains the same between the two versions".
...should I be worried about this?

More than likely not. I mean, FFXII's prerendered cutscenes totally blew me away, seeing as how that was the PS2's hardware, so I wouldn't be.
