Yeah, I know. This has been m' first post in x number of months, or something. So how is everybody?
Thread is about me finding this...silly, idiotic, crazy-looking, yet cool-looking ring. I was swimming with a few friends at Lake Hope State Park. We were using our toes to sift the bottom for skipping rocks, and see who'd get the furthest, or the most jumps. Well, I found somthing that wasn't exactly a rock. A ring, not entirely sure what metal it's *mostly* made of. The ring is a fanged skull & crossbones, with angel wings and some banner-esque thing underneath. I wish I had a digital camera, or even a scanner. It's a bit small for my left ring finger (not that it's the ring that's suppose to ride there, hopefully, within five years), yet a bit large for my right pinky. The metal's been worn down, exposing copper underneath the surface in places, and what looks like cast iron under that.
I made the remark that I found the Ring of Death on the bottom of Lake Hope. One of my friends laughed and came back with some stat modifiers from the ring. While it's kinda amusing, I don't know what to do with this damn thing. I'll probably use it for m' stupid Halloween outfit, then get rid of it. Hell, I'll probably just give it to the first who asks, really. Imagine that though, me heading down the street, stopping random people and asking them "Can I interest you in the Ring of Death?" in a cheesy British accent. I'll figure this out at some point.
