Okay, I'm sure this topic has been made a billion times by now, but I can't find one. Anyway, I have got to ask: Is there a way to get the game functional? I've been given nothing but dud ROMs everyplace I go to that carries it and it's been digging at me for years now how to fix the graphics on it. All I'm getting is a bunch of cubes in place of the physical graphics in the game. Sounds are working, text is perfect, just the missing graphics... Which can make this game utterly impossible to play without. I seriously need to know how to fix this before I have an existential breakdown.

what emulator and what version are you using? Sounds to me that you are using a version that lacks proper S-DD1 emulation, which both Snes9x (http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/zsnes/zsnesw151.zip>ZSNES) (v 1.51 win) support. Try updating your favorite emulator (which should be one of those) and see if thats helps any. :)

Oh good god, thank you man. I had no idea there was an update for years now. (Feels caveman-ish) Thanks.

Glad to read that you got it sorted. Just wanted to mention that I loved the idea of having an existential breakdown over an unemulated ROM. What a concept!

I wish every new guy around here were that funny.
