I need a simple set of instructions on how to get zsnes installed and working on linux. im a noob at it and i dont wanna screw up anything to any help is appricicated.

What distro? Somebody's probably already made a binary package for you.

Yellow Dog linux for PS3, i think its based on fedora hope this helps

You can't run ZSNES on a PowerPC platform. It's partially coded in x86 assembly. Try Snes9x instead. There's a guide http://www.tbreak.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38117here</a> for installing it and a number of other useful software packages.

close, but it's actually based upon Red hat. Fedora is also based upon red hat, so I can see where you figured that. This also dosen't necessarily mean that they are the same. YDL was created long before fedora
