Is there a way to change the format of SNES video? I'm trying to get a certain sprite that I haven't been able to find anywhere.

If no help can be offered on this subject, might anyone have an animated sprite of Magus from Chrono Trigger casting Dark Matter? I can't seem to find the poses used on any of the sprite sheets I've seen.

Or perhaps I'm just stupid.

Thank you all for your time.

you can disable background layers in ZSNES by pressing the 1-4 keys.

I should've been more specific. xD;

I meant, is there a way to change the filetype of the video so that it can be played in something other than ZSNES?

not really. these "videos" aren't really videos. More like macros of buttons that were pressed. You can use software that will record over your screen but I'm not sure of what is best to use.

Bugger. x_x Thanks anyway.

If I'd just been able to find that sprite, this wouldn't be a problem.

And that's an interesting bit of information. Thank you. <3 *files it away*

Couldn't you play up to that point, make a savestate or something in case you mess up, then slow down the emulation (using Zsnes's handy key for doing such) and take screen grabs?

I've tried that, but even with the slow key and the rewind key, it goes too fast for me. xD;

But I think if I watch it enough times, I can figure it out with a sprite sheet...

Much thanks to all of you. You've been a good deal more helpful than you needed to.

couldn't you get into the extra menu(F1) , advance frame to start of animation, screencap, advance frame, repeat until you have all the frames you need?

I guess...? @_@

In any case, I used an outside program to make a video capture, and now I have the correct frame order.

So don't worry about this anymore.

Thanks, everyone. ^_^ <3

Haha, oops, I forgot about this feature.
