I have a strong feeling that I will be moving to PA sooner rather than later. I hoped to at least stay in New Jersey for another year or two, just to get situated with a more reliable vehicle, a better job so I could commute from PA to NJ, and see to it that there is some closure in my life before I leave everything to start over again.
Well, it looks like I might have found a better vehicle. It's another Blazer and it's on eBay. I never purchased anything remotely like a vehicle on eBay, so I'm hoping everything works out. The only problem is that it costs around $1,500 and I only $400 in my savings account, so kinda I hope my parents pony up the rest. If my mom doesn't want to help, I'll just give a free ride on the guilt trip about moving and such.
As for the job, I have yet to find anything worth wasting gas for. It looks like I'll try to get a job at this one WaWa up in PA.
Then there's the whole closure and moving on situation. This could be the trickiest of the three things I mentioned. Kinda because I really stopped talking to everyone who was my friend at one point or another. I narrowed my clique down to six people and that's pretty much all I need. Besides my father, they're the only people that I will inform about the big move and such.
Although I could be wrong and I could be here for another year or two. I just got a little worried when a realtor called and said that his clients were "very interested" in my house and were already pre-approved buyers. It's a reality-check, I thought I could just sit on my ass and do nothing, and hope everything works out, and chill in Jersey for a little longer. But that phone call opened my eyes to the fact that I could be out of here at any moment. It is scary because I'm not ready yet to leave. And today I already started to say my good-byes and whatnot, just a little pre-emptive parting you could say. I told my friend Jay, look, someone's really digging my house and they're pre-approved, I could be leaving soon. This way it doesn't seem like one day I just up and left Jersey and abandoned my friends.
I'll post updates as they happen. Does anyone have any suggesstions about moving, especially from one state to another?
