Need some prayers again, folks.

A long-time friend of my family is in the hospital, and things are looking rather grim for him. He's been my mom's friend for almost as long as I've been alive; he was her law professor, then when he moved to TN, he sent my mom job clippings, and it was thanks to those newspaper clippings that she herself landed a job in TN, in the same town.

Just this morning he called my mom and asked her to come down to the hospital. Apparently, just last night he started losing vision in one eye. Thinking he was having a stroke, he called an ambulance. When he arrived at the hospital, they performed a CT scan, whereupon it was discovered that he has a brain tumor that's 5 centimeters in diameter. He's going downhill pretty fast; according to my mom, he wasn't making much sense when she was talking to him, though that could be due to the massive amounts of happy-happy medication the hospital currently has him on. What's more, the tumor doesn't look to be benign.

So... if you guys could, if you don't mind... pray for him? Thank you.

It seems like everyone in or close to my family is getting sick lately... <img src=smilies/cwm10.gif>

Wow...it's amazing he's still alive. I'll be praying for him. Cancer has made a mess of my family and family friends too, so I know how you feel. All you can do is hope for the best.
