So XP up and decided to die on me, and I took the opportunity to update to Vista. Problem is, I can't get my resolution to go any higher than 1024x768, where before I was able to hit 1600x1200 and beyond.
I'm running a Biostar P4M80-M4 motherboard and an ATI Radion X1600 Pro @ 512mb. As far as I'm aware, all my drivers are updated, but is there something I'm possibly missing?

My guess is something to do with the driver for the monitor. Maybe it's not detecting the monitor's resolutions right? I had that on my parent's computer once, ended up using a program called Powerstrip to automagically write a 'custom driver' that added that resolution. Not sure if this would work in Vista though.

Okay, I have no idea why, but apparently me having my TV hooked up as a 2nd monitor was screwing around with my primary monitor's display. After some messing around with some settings, its allowing me to display at 1600x1200 again.

Hell, my XP comp gets a virus, it leaves me to fix it while it goes masturbate somewhere. So yeah, XP and Vista are a couple of big bitches. My 98 comp still runs fine TO THIS DAY.
