I'm using ZSNES and can't get the cheats to work. I followed all the instructions on the cheat section of this domain and downloaded a few .cht files. I made sure they had the same file name and in the same folder as my ROMS. I even extracted the .cht and .frm files putting them in the same folder as the ROMs but couldn't get them recognised by the software which has the check box marked for auto-loading the .cht file. I have had some success with typing the codes in the old fashioned way but don't see a .cht file to go with the codes I entered. I've found sites online(www.world-of-nintendo.com) which provide lists of codes but not for everything and I'm hoping to find ones for Super James Pond 2:Operation Robocod, Chuck Rock and Super Swiv. Does anyone keep a text or Word file listing cheat codes that I could use? Or is there a big mistake I'm overlooking with the .cht files?

You have to be making a mistake, because cheats very well do work. Go back to it and try again!

GameFAQs is a wellspring of Game Genie codes.

For reasons I cannot fathom, the software has been looking elsewhere altogether and once I found where it's been storing cheat files, I simply straightened the whole thing out.

And www.gamegenie.com is a wellspring,too.

Some of the cheat codes didn't work. For example: Super-jump for Dixie, but accidentally I made it work. And don't even know how.
