After the long hallway of zombies from the first room of the game, there's a room with water full of mermen at the bottom. At the bottom left there's a secret passage to a small room. For the life of me I can't figure out how to get to the passage. I don't want to use a walkthrough if I don't have to.

The room on the bottom right is accessed from the right, you can't get that for now. Your objective is the upper right room.

It's really hard to guess what you have to do. If you're just looking for a hint, it involves the "passage" through the big rock in the middle of the room.

If you're looking for spoilers...

I've gone through it with the Saturn version, and it really wasn't that wonderful. In terms of style and enemy behavior, it was kind of out of place, like someone had dropped in a level of Mega Man or something. Cool fire-blowing demons, though.

I broke down myself and looked at a FAQ. I'm pretty sure I would've never guessed that heh. I spent most of my time in that room looking for a hidden switch. Well, now I've got my 200.6%.
