new job

i can't wait.

we signed on a new radio station 2 days ago...Hot 92...it's rhythmic CHR (urban top 40...ja rule, ashanti, tweet, britney spears, kylie minogue, jay z, etc).

it's freaking HUGE. EVERYONE loves it. and i can't wait to move there. the station i started on (and have been on for the last 2 years) turned hot AC (mostly 80s music)...i stayed on board because i'm loyal to the station and i enjoy radio...

they know i'm dying to go full time. i told the boss last week...i want the next full time position.

i'm so hyped up and excited about this new station..it's exactly what i want to work for. i'd KILL for a full time (day time) position. the PD likes me, the APD is a long time friend who owes me some hella-favors, and the MD is the coolest guy i know.

good times...good times. /me is smiling.

i can't WAIT to get on the air and trash the competition (it's a kiss station...all syndicated crap).

we've already started the war...

the guy in charge at this kiss station is ron roy...and the pd is jason. we made a sweeper that says "ron listens to hot 92....roy listens to hot 92...jason listens to hot 92...dick listens to kiss-fm..............don't be a DICK"

kiss is based in new york i believe...but clear channel has a slew of satellites around the country...it's pretty sad the way they've perverted radio.
