I got them today (all working), so I am going to re-pack them for someone to mirror on their website! PM me if you want me to send them to you to put on your webpage! (Since Zophar's Domain doesn't put in submissions anymore)

*hairy eyeball*

What do you mean "re-pack" - archive as 7-zip, or repack as minipsf2 or something? What's the size difference between packs?

And I repeat Audigy's question, what are the differences between this and the other archive ?

This one shouldn't be a bitch to have to re-download 50 million times for people with dialup.

Please tell us the exact amount of space you're saving.
I'm not going to mirror 7-zip. Just RAR here.

But see, here's the catch: people on dialup will STILL have to re-download it 50 million times, file format doesn't make a shred of difference.

These files seem to already be compressed in some way (Or just contain data that is very hard to compress well).

Original Data Set: 43.7MB

Zip: (Maximum Compression): 43.7MB

RAR (Maximum Compression, Solid): 40.4MB

7zip (LZMA, Ultra Compression, 32MB Dictionary, 64 Word Size, Solid): 40.6MB

While I have abandoned RAR for 7zip in 99% of my archived files, this is a case where 7zip is actually *bigger* than RAR. So repacking this as 7zip is retarded.

Yep, internal zlib compression.
