So I was talking to my fiancee, and she says this to me.

We think one of our neighbors might have shot Dodger

Dodger is my fiancee's dog. So I asked her what she meant. This was the response.

Well...one of our neighbors doesn't like that the dogs bark and he came over a couple weeks ago and said that he'd tell animal control about it and if they didn't do anything he'd take things into his own hands. And yesterday the dogs were barking and someone told us to shut the dogs up then when they didn't shut up we heard a gun shot and a dog yelp. Then this morning we found that doger has like a pellet gun gash in his chest.

This really disturbs me. I love those dogs. I'm a pet owner, and no one, I mean NO ONE should ever harm an animal. What pisses me off even more is this guy made a threat, and then dared to shoot the dog.

They're taking the dog to the vet, and if it's really a gunshot wound, they're calling the police. They're worried though, because they have no evidence.

"You don't need any evidence," I said, "The guy came over and threatened you. There's probable cause."

I hope they shoot him. People that are cruel to animals deserve to get shot. I'm not a dog lover, but I hate seeing any animal mistreated.

Granted my dog smells and has bad breath, I still love him. And for someone to do that, let alone make threats about it, is just wrong. What you should do is make an entire CD of different dog barks and crank it as loud as your stereo goes, oh, loop it. See what the scum bag does. This time I would set up a video camera near the front door or whatever, and when Scummy McScum-Scum comes a knocking to pose more threats, you have him on tape.

And make a fake dog from paper-maché in the same style as your current dog. When he shoots it, your dog remains in health, and the evidence can be on tape. If recorded that is.

If the vet pulls out a bullet, then save it as evidence. The bullet's fingerprint will trace back to the gun, and the gun will trace back to the shooter.

Well, the vet said it was "Definately a gunshot wound" but the bullet wasn't in him. They said that if he swam in the pool, which the dogs constantly do, it's probably at the bottom, so now the search continues.

They're calling the police and filing a report. I hope this bastard gets it. <img src=smilies/angryfire.gif><img src=smilies/angryfire.gif>
