Went for tests yesterday. Three fingers on my right hand are falling asleep and always tingling. First thing they did was grill me about heart problems. Nope.
Had a couple of tests (stress test being one) and passed with flying colors. Doctor said I had the heart of a twenty year old. I told him I also had the mind of a teenager. He laughed.
They messed with me some more and it's Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. He said it's pretty bad, and they've made an appointment with an orthepedics guy for next week. Meantime I gotta wear this splint, and take ibuprofen three times a day.
I didn't like it when he mentioned "operation". I've never had one, and hopefully never will. *sigh* Maybe this will calm down on it's own.<img src=smilies/banghead.gif>

Damn man, the same thing with my wisdom teeth; that was my first op. If you do need one, don't worry about it too much. General anesthesia is the shit and, afterwards, they'll give you enough pain meds to send you to the moon. <img src=smilies/magbiggrin.gif>

Hrm? I live in teh Mich, and when I had my wisdom teeth taken out, I was on pain medications for quite a while.

I agree. I had an operation to remove something when I was younger, and boy, except for the sore throat, it was fun! I got to take pain medication and lay around in bed all day, plus I had all the ice cream I wanted. And I the nurse gave me free slippers! Oh yeah, operations kick ass, especially when you don't have to pay for them.

Tonsils? Yeah, I had that done too... It was before Kindergarden, but I actually remember some parts of it.
