I'd fix that, human beings are very phallocentric and too often get caught up in "rationalism" and can't see what they really are.

Hm, interesting. I was actually raised as Protestant, but I've never heard of 'Unitarian Universalism' before. Another thing I find interesting is that it seems as though a lot of the people here have similar beliefs if this test is any indication. :) Maybe it's a case of 'Birds of a Feather' as they say.

This test, like all other online tests, is complete hogwash.

Like so many others, I came back as 100% Unitarian Universalism, but then when I http://www.beliefnet.com/story/80/story_8041_1.htmlclicked on that to see what that was</a>... reading the description did not describe my views at all. Like... not even close.

http://www.beliefnet.com/story/80/story_8027_1.htmlNontheist</a>, which pretty much describes me to a T, I only scored a 89% on. For a comparison, I scored 84% http://www.beliefnet.com/story/80/story_8038_1.htmlLiberal Quaker</a>, which, after reading, doesn't make any sense at all.

I also noted that, like all other online tests, the questions were totally loaded and in no way could really disect your religious views. From the start of the test, the first 7 or so questions all ask more or less the same thing. If you chose option 1 on the first question -- odds are you would choose option 1 on the next 6. After 3 or 4 questions, I found myself skipping over the first few responses and only reading the second to last, which not suprisingly, was the one I picked practially all the time.

Though I guess it is "fun". So whatever /wwwthreads/images/icons/tongue.gif

That's the worst test I've ever taken. I was a Bahá'ÃÂ*s and Reform Judaism, and most of the answers were ridiculously simplified and predictable. I'm sure they could do a more accurate test, but the qusetions would need to be far more conceptual and it would have to be far more involved (and even that wouldn't be an accurate measure of what "organized religion" you should adhere to.)

...Is everybody here Unitarian Universalism? haha! What a dumb test.

Perhaps, but I'd like to think that my clients prefer would prefer me to be a rationalist, rather than being preoccupied with basking in the knowledge that I am the manifestation of something that will eventually be a supreme consciousness or similar. In fact, it's probably a precondition.
