View Full Version : CSS problems with the board

Some of the forum sections are not loading the CSS needed to display the page correctly; all I'm getting is really garbled and misaligned text in black and white. This doesn't happen in this forum, but Talk of the Town is broken.

I think this is related to the ZD wipe that happened a bit ago. Any clue if it can be fixed?

Use a different style that doesn't pull a 403 error for now.

I use the ZD-NG theme and it works fine.

This is what happens when you use the exact same unmodified board software for 5 years. I expect it to never be fixed, personally since the ones that do care can't touch it, and the ones that don't care won't let anybody touch it.

wtf. It's a permission problem (that's what a 403 error is, fool) and has nothing to do with the board software.

Yeah, and with comments like that they will care more. Great idea.

Board software, site maintanence, it's all the same. If this problem has existed for more than 24 hours then my statement stands.

Several of the images used by the board don't show up. This includes the smilies, most of the post icons, the "New Topic" "Add Reply" buttons and such, as well as the moderator titles.

An unexpected behavior, I guess. :P

I'm pretty sure they're all currently broken. It doesn't look too bad for me (and other, I'm sure) since my browser seems to have cached the stylesheet and most of the images. I viewed a thread in IE (which doesn't have ZMD cached at all) and it was all kinds of wrong.

I agree with CEPeep about it looking like a simple permissions problem, though.

I was out of the area all day for work. You know...real life. The career that pays my mortgages.

It's connection limiting. I'm going to increase it.

There was no zd wipe. Nothing on the site changed...just apache rewrite rules.
