Yeah I normally dont post here or even read too many posts. However I thought that some was pretty interesting. Also I thought that I would like to share a problem of my own. And also wanting some advice.

I'm trying to quit smoking right now since I dont have the money to buy any more smokes and it's the perfect time. And so I'm removing any and all stuff that I can find related to smoking out of the house. Includng ashtrays and the works.

I've already been away from smokes for a entire day and I hate the withdraw effects. Quite nasty if you smoke yourself.

I tell myself the positives like better health and more money and all that. And all of it's true. I've been smoking heavilly for 20 years and now I think is a good time to quit. Wish me luck lol

Good luck! It's mostly about will power... if you really want to do it, you can.

I stopped smoking recently too, but I didn't smoke much to begin with, so I didn't have to go through withdrawal symptoms or anything. I feel healthier already though... if you want to quit, it's totally worth the effort. Good luck again

My buddy's going through the same thing. He just had his wisdom teeth out so he's using it as a catalyst -- not supposed to smoke for 4 days after the surgery.

As bad as it sounds, that's perfect for him if he wants to stay quit after all that.

I have some motivation myself. I dont have any money. However I could go and borrow some. I'm not going to do that. And I for sure dont want to do that.

I'm going through the withdraw effects right now and it sucks :-(

I quit smoking for 3 weeks once. It sucked. Just don't do this one thing: DON'T HAVE A CIGARETTE. I know it sounds weird, but even after you just have 1 after a few days, everything gets shot to hell.

Good job son, quitting smoking is one of the toughest things you'll ever do. Have a dollar.

Yeah I know what you mean by DONT HAVE ONE. When I was smoking for 10 years and I quit for almost a month. And I smoked one and omg it felt so damn bad. Like all those chemicals was back and I was so light headed I almost fell over lol. However now I'm trying again and I dont want to have that feeling again say if I do manage to pull it off for a few weeks like I did the last time.

I tell ya I'm in the process of quitting. I wont call it over till I get past the withdraws and all that. To the point where I cough when someone is smoking arround me. Then I will say I did it. Untill then it's a battle all the way

I am not even entertaining the idea of quitting at this time.

This was the only chunk with bad English. Don't worry about it. I've seen worse.

Oh, I applaud you and I'm sure you'll do fine. I was just continuing the Simpsons reference.

I wish. Maybe if I make it big.

Uh, my friends and I just go a lot of places so someone's always bound to have a digi-cam handy.

You guys haven't seen the half of the crazy shots we have. And some good photoshop work too. Like this one:

Gil, don't go off smoking "cold turkey". Find something less dangerous to help you gradually get off the addiction. I once heard of nicotine lollipops. I wonder if they're stil around.
