Some humans would do anything to see if it was possible to do it. If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying "End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH," the paint wouldn't even have time to dry. -- The Thief of Time, Terry Pratchett

No. For one thing, it would destroy me right with it, would it not? Besides, just as there are people who would just about deserve it there are those who wouldn't.

Due to the culmination of a haphazard, speed-addled process of simultaneous self-destruction and self-realization which can only be termed "studying the occult, transcending the logos and self, and manifesting one's true will the really hard and dangerous way" I had a choice of paths, as the emerging supreme master of my own reality, which demanded immediate resolution: Destroy the world as The Final Avatar of Vishnu to end the Kali-Yuga, become the second coming of Christ, initiate nuclear holocaust, or sit back and chill the fuck out and take control of my limbic system and manifest divine love. The "end of the world" scenario was the final attempt of my ego to react and subvert my higher brain with fear, as a higher form of consciousness emerged (the godself), and the notion that I was a "person" disappeared, and was replaced by the notion that I was "the supreme consciousness which is in all things, not just my body". This might be termed "psychosis" by those caught up in abyss of knowledge, and does fit that definition, but when the abyss is crossed, knowledge which unfortunately can't be put into words very easily (sorry, that's the nature of things which transcend the logos!) opens up, and reality means something far, far bigger than can be imagined to a word-made-flesh creature such as humans. (Picture a universe where I am God, and yet, I am speaking to you, who is ME in my reality, and you are speaking to Me as a GOD, and I am YOU in YOUR reality. In my reality, I can CONTROL you, but in your reality, you think you are VOLUNTARILY doing what you are doing, even as I CONTROL you with my Will. Any conversation with in which free will isn't granted causes a conversation with someone to be nothing more than thinking to myself out loud.)

Above the abyss, contradiction is unity.. All things are simultaneously true, false, both, and neither. We are crippled by fear of death, and the reality which is actually just the reality were are able to create through words (a physical reality with laws governing cause and effect).

So basically, reality is bullshit and not bullshit at the same time, and once your mind is freed of the logos, ANYTHING is possible (if you have the will...which is infinitely more complicated than it sounds, as a human really is a very, very small thing compared to a transcendent god-consciousness which premeates eternity.

And that's why I didn't destroy my reality. Anyone else ever have any experiences like this?

If you didn't understand what I was getting at, have a nice technological singularity. Our shared reality is subjective, in which words have created the illusion of a finite universe with objective rules,. We created a prison of a universe with a combination of language and ignorance, and a second prison which cuts us off from our higher selves in the form of a body. How fucking hilarious is that?

Nukka you must've done some good shit.

I realized reality wasn't real one time when I did mushrooms.

There is something else beyond, thats the truce reality. That this reality just covers up and distracts us from.

I have a simpler point of view since when your dead there is nonexistance. I would not pull the switch but I would demand a million dollars from the world and a decent woman that was willing to rock my sock off till the day I die. Yeah pulling the switch might seem cool but I can do that after 30 years of hot sex and a nice spending spree first. I'll do it on the last day of my life anyways since, who gives a shit then. <img src=smilies/cwm11.gif>

I like how people just assume that there's nothing after. I did for a while, until the concept of non-existence seemed more absurd than the concept of existence...Either way, non-existence is just existence in total blindness...

As for the demanding a million dollars from the world and a hot woman, that is almost EXACTLY the motivations of the people who run the planet :)

Well I look at it as we are just intelligent carbon based beings who have learned to manipulate thier environment. Maybe there is something after or maybe not, but just because someone says thiers something else doesn't mean we have to believe them. There is no proof of a soul, an afterlife, or a god/gods/diety. I also believe that just because I don't think I have a soul that I can't be nice or enjoy life while I can. I'm just here for the ride and when it's over if I have any regrets I guess they won't matter since I'll be not and my body will be wormfood.

Hell yeah I would. But first, I'd demand trillions of dollars, a harem of hot, STD free women. my stories to be made into major motion pictures and a parade in my honor bi-annually until the day I die, which would be immediately after I flip the switch when I know I'm getting too old to flip it any more.

I'd like to mention, that I would prefer to have the secret of the exploding numbers technique like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lobo_%28DC_Comics%29Lobo</a> did in Fragtastic Voyage, that would kick ass and I could destroy the entire universe with a big enough number.

How to destroy the universe:

1) Put gun in mouth
2) Pull trigger

That's it. If anyone wants to destroy the universe, I suggest you try it.

I'm surprised you're more so disturbed by my sig pic than my avatar, considering it's http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matthew_ShepardMatthew Shepard</a> burning in hell. Just so you know, I got it off of a http://www.godhatesfags.com/main/index.htmlsite</a> that I thought was so ridiculous and hate-filled, it was funny. God, the people who made that site are so... Pathetic.
