I'm throwing the bullshit flag on this one. You would've just set a record which you didn't.

12 seconds, but only when the things are moving abnormally slow. Randomness sucks.
Further study seems to indicate that I do best when one is moving slow, which makes sense, as I'd be better able to keep track of 3 objects than 4.
For that matter it'd probably make an interesting study to see how people perform with different numbers of objects to track. Then again, I'm sure this has been done.
http://hcs64.com/mostaddictinggame.htmlHere it is without the ads and crap and without the requirement that you hold down the button (which seems to make firefox try selecting the text in the boxes). Also now includes an accounting of at what FPS the game runs (at?), so comparisons can be made more accurately. Mine is at about 22.
Now resets after you dismiss the score window, rather than having to reload the document.
Edited by hcs on 10/19/06 05:12 PM.

Got 16 secs after a few tries (average 33 fps), I keep bumping into the walls by accident more than actually get hit by the moving columns, but that will probably change once they start moving insanely fast.
Edit: 16.453, ffs. I'm debating getting a sledgehammer for my mouse if I die near 16 for the zillionth time again.
Double edit:

Blah, screw it, I'm going to wake up the house with my growls and snarls soon, so I'll break the 20 sec some other time.
