i had several segments of weird dreams last night.

first was i woke up at around 12:30 and it was semi-dark out..like at about 8:30p during the summer...not dark, but the sun has set. it doesn't make any sense to me...then i see the sun is eclipsed. i watch it, it ends, and then i don't remember what happens.

now i'm at the club in the dj booth downstairs and i hear a chick talking in the seating around next to the booth. she's waving a gun around showing it off (unknown model...resembled a german pre-nazi luger)...she then puts the gun in her mouth like she's giving it head. i take the gun from her, unload it, and then give it back to her.

next segment is the longest. we're driving home with the family from florida (i did dream about the entire trip, but most of it is gone). it's dark out when we turn into my old neighborhood. there are huge blue dump trucks parked on everyone's lawn. when we get to my house there's a red car backed into the drive parked crooked. we open the left garage door and i'm yelling "we're gonna have him towed...screw this...yadda yadda". when we open the door in the garage to the house, someone keeps closing it. at this point i'm carrying openly so i draw my gun and the door opens. some dude is sitting on the floor going through our stuff on the shelf by the door. he has what looks to me a glock 17, but never points it at me. he doesn't listen to my commands to stop and show his hands.

next part is fuzzy...but then i remember shooting him in the kitchen and the family room. all center of mass shots and he doesn't go down. since he's only at like 3 yards to point blank, i go for a head shot to take him out. doesn't do anything. i got slide lock so i went to reload...i noticed the slide wasn't locked back, but it was halfway forward like in a double feed situation. regardless, i popped another mag in and racked the slide. i call 911 on my cell, but get some weird guy with a californian surfer accent. i look at the phone and it has a bunch of numbers on it which ends in '928', like that's the number i called. he apparently fixed my phone so that it can't call 911.

gets blurry again...now i'm in the shower without the curtain. people keep walking in and i'm getting PISSED cause i just want to shower. even one of my friends comes in (who's being his typical self and ignoring me when i'm yelling at him to go the fuck away cause i just to shower). then my sister walks in and starts asking me stuff.

fuzzy again...then i'm in the hallway between the bathroom and my old room. i must be beginning to wake up, because my conscious mind takes over after i see 2 sisters (same person) walk out of the bathroom. i think to myself "this is a dream. let's do something crazy". i walk into my old room and the window is shut, the blinds are down. so i run towards it and jump through it. i make it through it and get the sensation of flying.

then everything loses color, i can feel an adrenaline rush and i'm wide awake. so much for lucid dreaming today

My dreams are always weird. Sometimes they don't have any reality to them at all.

Last night's dreams really sucked. Could be partially the fault of large bottle of red wine, followed by 18-pack of beer. Anyway, I dreampt I was gay. I don't like that. If it's true, I'm staying in the closet damnit. I like women.

the dream i had last night (strange cause the only dreams i usually get dont happen that often and involve a hampster wheel) was kinda cool, but weird. seems i was living in a nudist camp, not one with old ass peoples, but one where girls from my school visited ( weird, but cool O_o) The one of my friends, also girl i like keept trying to get me to go swimming, but i kept refusing because the pool was filled with slick 50 grease (that green stuff) because it would get my clothes dirty. she finially gets me to go in, but she pulls me down to where the bottom of the pool should be, but she keeps pulling me down, thge rest of the dream i am sinking in the green goop with the one i like. should scare me i guess, but i liked it ^_^

You want weird dreams?
Fine I'll give you weird dreams. :D

Saturday morning I had to do a 24 hour gig Relay for Life cancer walk thing.
But anyway... I got approximately 30 mins of sleep that entire day. So I was pretty exhausted. I ended up dreaming during that 30 mins of sleep that the amp box (amp, dual deck cd player, mic system, mixer etc.) started to attack me @.o. Spitting CDs at me and all kinds of shit.. very very odd... I ended up waking myself up around 4:30 am from it.

From a psychological standpoint, dreams are the gateway of our conscious to the unconscious mind. Supposedly we use dreams to get connected to the part of the brain we cannot readily access on our own. There are several theories as to why we must do this, but the most popular are that in order to function properly as a "normal" psychologically healthy human being, we must effectively use all parts of our brain. If our connectinos are severed, we become a mentally unhealty person. (Often those who suffer from depression lose their ability to creatively dream). We also access this region of the brain to problem solve or deal with problems or happenings in our life. (This is of course a Jungian interpretation, so everyone pick their favorite psychologist and apply appropriately).

Dream interpretation is a completely different subject. As to what your dreams meant....I have no idea. However, depending on the person that the dreams took place in (ie first or third person) can determine the analytical methods to approach. If the dream took place in the first person, you saw everything through your own eyes as it happened, it tends to deal with more real-life issues and can even shade a interpretive picture of what may come (the future...bwhahahahaha!!!). If the dream was in the third person, you saw yourself doing these things, then it is more likely a non-life related issue, and is probably just your brain trying to figure something out and healthfully creating communication between the conscious and unconscious minds.

Then again, it could have no bearing on anything whatsoever and was just one messed up sequence of dreams....
