Seriously, I don't know what you people think of al-Qaeda or marijuana, but let me put it this way: that whole Islamic fundamentalism thing is a joke; Osama and friends just want to blow stuff up for the sheer amusement of it and get gullible idiots to do it for them. Osama bin Laden's second in command is now a former death metal fan from America, and let me tell you: Those dudes really know how to smoke, and have great taste in old video games. I beat Ayman al-Zawahiri at Street Fighter 2 (his favorite guy is Ken, but I know the secret to winning with Dhalsim). Osama and Adam and I were sitting around in this cave, passing around this 3-footer while plopped down on an Afghan rug, in front of an old TV with an SNES hooked up...it was good times. And then this guy calls up Osama talking about how he's williing to die now, and Osama gives him this big long speech about paradise and stuff, and we're just standing around giggling, listening with this speaker-phone on mute. And after we hear this big KABOOOOOM! sound on his end we just break out laughing hysterically and high-five each other. Then we go into the al-Qaeda rehearsal space, play Slayer covers, and head-bang until our necks feel like they're going to fall off.
Osama has the best fucking collection of metal records ever, too. I don't know if anyone here's into old underground metal, but he's got all the goodies: Mayhem's Deathcrush, original vinyl pressings of every Slayer, Bathory, and Celtic Frost record. That was his heydey man, the 80s, when he could afford to spend his money on records, before that whole "jihad" troll he's got the Western world so upset about.
Goddamn, those guys are a lot of fun, people have totally got the wrong idea about them. I just really can't hate anyone that plays such a good game of Street Fighter 2.
