this is a question since I have the FF3usME62 editor, did square even make a US version for the SNES?

A monster editor? They probably did. I wouldn't expect them to hand it over, though.

Final Fantasy III is coming to the DS pretty soon. Late October, I think.

No, that's FF3j NES that's been remade for DS, not FF6, which was released in American as FF3US.

FF6 (FF3US) is being ported to GBA and is coming out sometime early next year at the latest.

The original poster of this thread asked if "FF3" was ever released in the US, when discussing a tool -named- in part FF3US. The original reply was, "No." and linked to a eBay search for FF3 US carts. The reply, from the original poster, was "Oh, that's too bad."

I was attempting to continue the thread, based on the poster's apparent gullibility. :)
