Well Gobby was home early yesterday (he does lawn maintenance and ran into a bee's nest), head all swollen from bee stings. He asks me if I wanna do a little Mario Kart 64. I've got my 40 gig hdd formatting, so I say sure.
I look at him and say, "this isn't quite fair. I don't think you can see real well out of that eye".
"Bullshit. We'll play VS. and I'll beat you all first four races."
I raised an eyebrow. "We'll see about that."
Sure enough, he beats me at the Farm and the Desert. He knows how good I am at the beach, and he does win the speedway every time. So he picks the speedway.
Turns out to be a good race. We're real close, and I get a star in the last set of blocks. I'm just trying to pass him, so dumbass gets in my way. Wham! Wario's fat ass is in second.
I'm laughing as I cross the finish line and all he's doing is cursing and saying "my friend, Roger" over and over again sneering.
I apologize to him, trying not to laugh and he just leers at me. "Fuck you," he snarls, "I'm taking you down at your own track"
We hit the beach.
Nearly same situation. Last set of block, I get a mushroom, so I crank it up and pass him. We're near the finish line, and he's got the triple shells running. "Take this," he says right near the finish line. He comes up behind me and nails me with a shell.
And knocks me over the finish line. Ahead of him.
He throws the controller at me. "You planned that you bastard."
I'm on the floor laughing so hard.
