My brother moved out (again) sunday, but he's still trying to get adjusted, so my mom invited him over for dinner. Afterwards, we planned on visiting him and checking out his apartment. On the way there, I comment on how bad the neighborhood is, so he points to a couple of kids playing with a ball, and says "they aren't bad, are they?" I respond with 'the ball is full of coke!" We go back and forth until he sees a guy in a jacket walking with a young woman and my brother says "what about them" and I respond with the obvious "A pimp and his hooker." So he says I'm too paranoid, the woman saw us looking and showed us some flesh, so very ironic, that was the upside.
Now we're at his building, and some old bitch snaps at us, "You need to sign in." So we say okay and start to sign in, when she adds "You have a photo ID with you, right?" My mom says yes, she does, but I don't. My brother says "I don't need any, I live here." She responds like a bitch, "Oh, I know YOU do, but THEY don't!" I don't drive, I'm homeschooled, and I only bring my ID when I know I need it. My sister had visited him a day earlier and hadn't been asked for an ID. So I say I don't have any ID on me, so she says in a snotty tone "Sorry, you can't come in." So we leave. We look almost exactly alike, and my Mom was with me, so what the fuck did she think we were gonna do?
