I just got a haircut (no before/after pics like pudu, sorry!). The chick that gave it was damn hot. She was like a blonde Rachel Leigh Cook, except even more cuter eyes. I was even somewhat turned on by her silly stupidity. She was talking about the shampoo that she was using on me, and was explaining that it has more vitamins than most other shampoos. Then she says "Yea, it's made by scientists....that's why I like it." I almost busted up at that because...well, just about everything with chemicals in it is developed/made by scientists. She said some other silly stupid stuff too...damn though she was cute!
I need to start askin some girls out. I need to lose some weight to get some confidence back. I've worked out 6 of the last 7 days, but haven't lost any weight...I guess cuz I'm probably getting some muscle from it as well as losing fat. I don't see it yet, but an 70+ minutes almost every day, mostly cardiovascular, should give me some results at least. I guess I just have to still get used to it and not bother weighing myself for a few weeks...otherwise it will annoy me to death.

Take a picture and then take another in 2 months and you'll really notice a difference in bodyfat. Stick to at least 12 reps and 3 sets per exercise and don't use extreme weight but weight that will let you do the reps without to much trouble. The reason for this is because if you get real big muscle it'll actually make you look still overweight to an extent, but instead by using the higher reps you'll end up getting more of a ripped effect and you should do some cardiovascular workout, I recommend jumping rope and swimming if possible, just jump rope for 5 minutes a day for the first week and then add another set of 5 minutes the next week and then one 10 minute and then a 10 and a 5 minute till you get to a total of 20 minutes, this is the fastest fat burner known, it's actually supposed to be better than running for loosing weight fast. Good Luck. <img src=smilies/thumb.gif>

I honestly hope you don't feel outclassed by "silly stupidity." Feeling actual shame for preservation of a stereotype, yes. The three groups I pick on the most in jokes are drummers, lawyers, and blondes. That's why I made the comment. I hope I didn't offend you.

I've got a membership to a YMCA, so I go to the gym there to work out. I've been doing mostly cardiovascular. I haven't stuck to any sort of routine, but for the most part, I've done about 30 minutes on a cross-training machine which is supposed to be a better fatburner than running if I'm not mistaken, and like 15 minutes on a bike to rest my back from the cross-training machine, 15 minutes of whatever (treadmill walking/running, bike, crosstrainer, or mix of the 3), and about 10 minutes worth of weight stuff (machines, freeweight "ball" exercises, etc). I do mostly cardiovascular because it moves the largest muscles (bike moves legs and walking, running, and cross-training machine moves pretty much entire body). I know about reps and stuff...I actually usually do 3 sets of 15 reps, and I make sure I select weight sufficient to work the muscles but not leave them hurting when Im done with the 3rd set.
Some things though I can't really do 3 sets of 15 reps on though, like the damn crunch machine they've got there...god that thing is tough. I basically try to do 2 sets of 15, then at least see what I can churn out in the 3rd set. Like today...I did 2 sets of 15, then in the 3rd I was just feeling it too much around 8. Still....that's such a necessary part of my workout, because my abdominal area is where a whole lot of gut fat resides....at the least, even if I build muscles that make me look fatter at first, more muscles means more fat burning when I work out. I wanna do more stuff on the ball though. I had a training session a few months ago and the dude had me do a routine of about 3 weight exercises with the ball and 1 without. The 2nd time through the routine, he had me lift a foot off the ground when doing them. The whole body works to keep balance on the ball, so as long as you've already cardiovascularly built your heart rate up before workin on the ball, you're burning fat when you do those weight exercises. I'm even considering buying one of them and some freeweights to do some exercises at home. I actually already have 25 lb freeweights at home, but I can't get myself to regularly work out with them :/. That's why I like the gym...you're around people that are also working out. At home, I'm around my fatass lazy mom. Nuff said, lol.
