View Full Version : Thanks Effexor!

I take effexor because it alters my seretonin levels, which are really low, means I sleep trouble, eating trouble, and a little bit of depression. So to boost it, my doctor gave me effexor. It's hereditary, so thank my dad. Anyways, I was feeling a bit down, and like an idiot, didn't want to wait until morning to take it, because I only need to take it for a week or two every month.. So I took it last night... I then was awake all night long from 11 pm to 7 am Thinking,.. eyes closed just thinking... in fact, I thought so much I turned skitzophrenic and started arguing with myself, and then had myself mediating the argument.. It's rather sad really. So then, not only did it do that to me but I've been given hyper active stomach acids.. normally to boost digestion and hunger, but only making me rather ill and vomiting all over the place. Another thing it has done to me is pushed me just over the edge of paranoia.. Because I was already an alert person, but it boosted my alertness by 300% So now every sound I hear I think " whats that where's it coming from is it after me what should I do where's my escape route" and so on... And it sucks... Please god let it wear off soon!!

that's not paranoia. that's being responsible and alert.
normally the average idiot is condition white. that means they're clueless to everything around them. a responsible person remains condition yellow, meaning they're aware of their surroundings and the possibility of a threat.
when you heard the noise, you went condition orange. that means a possible threat needs to be analyzed and you need to prepare an action. if it were an actual threat (ie, someone breaking in) you would go condition red...meaning a threat has been identified and you need to take action.
and of course, for the sake of completeness, condition black means you administer lethal force and shoot him.

Beer & guns...sounds similar to this one intersection about 10 miles east of Toledo, Ohio (SR 2): a bar, a Sunoco, and a BlackCat fireworks store. I hope that wasn't planned as such.

I take Effexor XR 150mg every day for my depression. I have been for years. It's not helping lately though <img src=smilies/crying.gif>
