went shopping yesterday.

actually, wouldn't exactly call it shopping, since I was out for 5 hours and bought one thing, but i went out with the intent of shopping. it's just that i don't like spending money on things, so i never usually buy anything. i had about $34, and i had planned to see the matrix:reloaded with a friend, but she wasn't around. so i decided to go to the salvation army thrift store, and just rummaged through stuff until I came across a couple of advance copies of cds I'd never heard of, but looked interesting, and were only $2. so i bring them up to the register, and as i'm waiting in line, i take them out of the cases, and notice they're both stuff like home decorating software for windows 3.1 or some shit instead of what it said on the sleeves. so back those went to the bin from whence they came. then i went to this arcade, which has a "nickel arcade" section, and in this particular section, there's a machine that dispenses tickets. at one point, i'd mastered the timing on it so that i could get 25 tickets for most of my tries, and tries being only one nickel, it was pretty awesome. but this time i really sucked, so i got 470 tickets with 4 dollars worth of nickels. then i went to barnes & nobles, because I had a gift card, and totally for the hell of it used it to buy Norwegian In Ten Minutes a Day...I dunno, norwegian looks like a cool language. then i went to blockbuster, because i had a $10 gift card, but decided not to get anything, since there was nothing i wanted for that price. then i went home.

anyone else shop like i do?
