I was wondering if anyone knew of a browser (preferably based on Mozilla) which is designed to be in every way like a regular browser but doesn't keep records of where you've been.

There's a couple of extensions for Firefox that do that. I used to use one called Stealther.

Make the profiles directory read only and check the config for any options to disable history/etc. Then route all traffic through tor.
I'm sure the extensions CEPeep mentioned would help a bit.
Voila. Complete anonimity.
Combine all of this with Portable Firefox for secure/anonymous firefox on the go!

I'd like to emphasize not using tor unless you have some specific reason to do so. People use tor where the internet and their activities are censored by the government, their employers, etc. I don't want to discourage you from using it if you have a legitimate purpose though, Jaduss.
