The kernel totally broke through my firewall and scorched the main ROM. Now I have to use my USB interface to enable 64-bit processing on the mainframe.

I generally tend to avoid anything other than final software releases these days, so I'll probably try the final version some time this month. An easy upgrade path and three years of support sounds good to me.

Bah, my monitor's been out of action for a while. Got a replacement now though, so I'll fix some problems I've been putting off for a while and then upgrade.
