View Full Version : Wow, 10,000 mark!

Looks like the diaries board has hit 10,000 posts. Let's change the name to the DiariesDD board.

Anyway, I'm going to say something of substance now. My classes are over and the summer is about to start! Rock. Unfortunately, this means that Fairy will be going back to India soon. /wwwthreads/images/icons/frown.gif The other grad students told me that it can get really lonely around here during the summer, so I'm not looking foward to it. On the other hand, I could use the chance to get some much-needed work done. Also, my parents are moving to Tennessee this summer, so it won't be completely uneventful. Personally, I liked State College and think Tennessee will suck balls, but whatever.

Also, I just saw Reloaded (no spoilers to follow). It was an incredible movie, there is no question about it. I especially enjoyed the plot twists -- I could see it five times and still not catch everything. The only annoying part was that we had to wait through the long-ass credits in order to see the trailer for the third movie, which really sucked (not to say that the movie will suck, just that there was nothing interesting in the trailer).

Anyway, I'd just like to take this chance to wish everybody a pleasant end to the school year (if you go to school) and a happy summer. Love all around. <img src=smilies/thumb.gif>

That is god to hear. I still have not gotten to see it (err...) But I am glad the sequel screws with your mind the way its prededecesor did.
Will you still have regular net access back home? Anyway, have fun during the summer.

Even more so, I would say, but I've heard different opinions on that.

Thanks. Yeah, I always have access, but I won't be home very much anyway. Maybe a week or two. Only time I won't have access will be when I go on hiking trips. <img src=smilies/magbiggrin.gif>

I have dated a few international ladies in my day as well... seeing them go so far away is never pleasant.

I wish. I tried very hard, but a $1600 plane ticket is unfortunately not affordable at the moment. Also, there were additional complications which I am not at liberty to discuss. <img src=smilies/cwm10.gif>

I hear you. I'm on the verge of potentially getting laid off. If I do and they give me a nice package, I'm selling all my belongings and flying to Europe to rekindle an old flame. Of course, if I don't get laid off, I'll be a big pussy that sits here in his retarded Office Space job in hellville Utah, complaining about how things are too complicated for me to be with her.

so lets hope for lay offs! I'm trying hard this week. I showed up Tuesday morning 2 hours late to work, still intoxicated from the previous night.

yesterday, I spent most of my time chatting online and visiting coworkers in their offices.

Mind you, I am actually very busy with my work responsibilities but I just can't hack it this week. My dedication to luv is too strong. <img src=smilies/laff.gif>
