View Full Version : Back home; back to crappy TV

Being away for so long, I had almost forgotten about my family's horrile taste in TV.
Against my protests, everyone is currently downstairs watching American Idol. Apparently they have been intently watching the entire series, my sister in particular. I have been accused of being anti-social because I refused to watch it. (I sat though a half hour of it, then leanred that it is 2 hours long and left.)
And it is all the time. I have to compete against some dumb "reality" show to watch the Simpsons. In the morning it is Good Morning America, Regis, etc. During the day its Oprah, Divorce Court, etc. At night it's about every crappy reality show and sitcom on the air. I f**king hate the Gilmore Girls!
That's enough bitching for now, I suppose.

My advice is to do what I did. Get a rather large and sharp knife. Now proceed with extreme stealth into the living room where your family is quietly watching television. Go for dad's jugular first, as he probably would put up the most resistance. Pick off the women at your leisure, since we know very well how weak women are. Now when you have finished, cut them all up into relatively thin and short slices. Now put them in the toaster, and have yourself some toast while you wait for the police to come, while watching whatever the hell you damn well please.

(Note: this was all meant to be a joke. I will not be responsible if you try this at home. Oh, and apologize to the much fairer sex for my "you know how weak women are" comment. You may line up to kick my ass at a sport of your choosing.)

This whole post sounds like something Devorius would say. Only I think he'd mean it /wwwthreads/images/icons/wink.gif
