How come every time I have ONE drink I feel so much better about myself? When I am stone cold sober I feel like sooooo depressed abotu everything, but when I have one drink it all feels good. Everyone smiles and I am all happy.

Why can't it be like this all the time???

At least you feel good after 1 drink....I only feel good after I eat enough food to feed Somalia, and then it dies down after a few minutes. Alcohol doesn't do a damn thing for me.

That's as bad as me, had a 12 pack in the fridge for over 6 months and had only drank 4 of them and if it wasn't for my brother last summer 4 or 5 of them would still be there. :)

That shouldn't be the case. Alcohol is a depressant. It's supposed to depress you. Well, unless you're either hooked on stimulants (caffeine or, perhaps, even cigarettes) or your blood sugars out of control. Screw it. It makes you forget your....um...what was I saying? Anyway, don't worry about it, but don't get too close to alcohol...it can do damage to your life in more ways than one...but it is fun :)

Hey, guys, if ya wanna run with the big dogs (a twelve pack might last three days in my house), you need to be able to urinate in the tall grass. :)

I say yea, also. But....someone brought up MV accidents due to excessive pot smoking, and I saw some lameass arguments that said it couldn't happen. Know something? DUI includes marijuana. That's what the staties down here told me. Of course, we were all buzzed at the time.... :)

The reason it lasts that long is because I have some liver damage from drinking so much when I was younger, I would usually drink a 12 pack everyday within 3 hrs of getting out of work and usually drink a case by bedtime and smoke 3 or 4 joints at least while drinking. :)

Gnash, while I agree with your point, and the point actually made by everyone else, driving under the influence of any type of drug can lead to death and/or dismemberment. And we, as a society are making a big deal of the alcohol related DUI's, there's a reason for it. Most of the offenders (careless people) can't handle their particular poison, right now are the alcoholics. Bottom line, booze is legal, it's most in the forefront. I think no one needs to get behind the wheel if they have had either something to Drink or Smoke. Good point, Gnash.

Haven't had a sip of beer even for almost a year, not from AA or anything, I just don't like it anymore except maybe one on a 100 degree day and I haven't been high for almost 3 weeks now, wish I was though. :)))))))))
