1) boil water
2) while water is boiling, defrost shrimp just enough to rip the tails off
3) still waiting for water to boil, cut up fresh brocoli...remove most of the stalk and cut the pieces larger than the meat of your thumb in half.
4) water is boiling...insert fettucini noodles
5) put some oil in a saucepan and combine the following: shrimp, brocoli, scallops, mushrooms. cover under medium heat. stir occasionally.
6) put alfredo sauce in pan and turn the heat on low

while the alfredo noodles cook for 10 mins, the water frozen in the shrimp and scallops will be released and help steam the brocoli and mushrooms.

when done, drain the shrimp/brocoli/etc and salt/pepper to taste. drain your alfredo noodles but don't shake the water off. put it back in the empty pot IMMEDIATELY and drench in the warmed alfredo sauce. this helps prevent the noodles from sticking. stir up.

serve the fettucini alfredo in a dish, top with the veggie/seafood mix, and top that with some fresh cut up parsley.

now i need a girlfriend for whom to cook <img src=smilies/cwm10.gif>

Sounds very similar to something my mother makes alot. Only she uses crab meat and shrimp. It's very tasty.
