Can Windows be taught to save to the desktop on the right side of the screen, not the default left?

I find it odd that on a fresh XP install the Recycle Bin will be in the lower right corner, but as soon as you auto arrange the icons it moves to it's normal place.
Doesn't bother me though, I stopped using auto arrange two years ago, I prefer to put everything in my order.
