My finals are now officially over! Now I just have to go and get my alternate PIN (again), register for next year, apply for at least $3000 in scholarships, work full time, and oh yeah, actually relax and enjoy my summer vacation.
Best of all, all of my friends are still in school for at least another 2 weeks, so I get to sit back and relax while they are cramming.
Side note on each final: I still f'ing hate Intro to C. That is the only final I had that I am sure I flunked. A combination of me having to try and self teach myself almost everything using a textbook that the teacher never even opened all year, having a teacher who half the time messes up his note giving and doesn't tell us until we try to run our programs and they fail miserably, and the fact that our final consisted of writing out on paper with no use of the computer code that when ran should do trig functions, all helped to contribute to my definate fuxoring in that class.
World Masterpieces 1: Managed to hopefully bullshit my way through the question on the statue of David, and had no problem with the question dealing with The Merchant of Venice. But the music question I know I bombed. "What are the difference between Mozart and Bach, give examples." Figures that we spent only one day on the music section, and that was one of the days I was at the hospital getting my damned foot looked at.
Intro to Psychology: Well we really didn't have a final in this class. We had 3 tests in there, all worth 25%, and then a term paper which we were supposed to be working on all semester, which was the other 25%. So for the final we got back our term papers, and then took the third test. Got a B- on the term paper, despite the fact that I sort of researched and wrote the thing in 2 hours, and believe I did ok on the third test.
College Algebra: Unlike the last final in here, this one wasn't multiple choice. That could have royally screwed me, or helped me, not sure which yet. The good thing is that the non-multiple choice nature allowed for bonus problems, and partial credit, the bad thing is that there was a large focus on problems using log and ln, and that was the thing I did worst with. Hopefully I manage to pull a B or high C since I really need to get a good math grade.
But, the good thing is that I have already been accepted into the Computer Science program, and a good number of the classes I took this year in "University Studies" will carry over. But for now, I just want to have a nice quiet summer, and maybe go see X-Men 2 a couple hundred more times
If you actually managed to read all of this, congratulations you get a cookie.
