If that's the independent media in Syria, I don't even want to read the government media
That's really freaking specific, too. I mean, an exact date for an attack on the Sears Tower or Petronas Tower? Maybe it's just that my mother works in the Sears Tower, but that's freaking spooky. They covered every right-wing conspiracy theory darling group that's supposedly controlling the movements of every atomic particle in the universe, too. Isn't it strange how far-right Americans and fundamentalist Islamic conspiracy theorists have the same set of boogeymen controlling everything?

I dunno if this is translated or written to English directly, but it may just be a poorly worded version of one of those "what if" stories that the media is so fond of. You know, those things where the promos are like, "You and your loved ones could be raped, murdered, and covered in silly string the next time they use a common household appliance. More on this and other stories after the movie."
The end of the article seems a bit more sane, so maybe the "colorful" language just doesn't translate so well.

What I don't get is, if this is all fact, why the fuck would they be pubilcally announcing their plans?
If I was them, I would be announcing that I would attack the sears tower on March 7th 2006, let the media get ahold of it, watch the alert system go to red, don't attack, then when the level goes back to say, green or blue then I would strike, and not only would I strike, but I would strike somewhere else, but eh.*
*Disclaimer: this does not mean that I'm planning to attack the US or anything for that matter. I have no ties to anything in the middle east.

well yeah, but that's what the terroists want you to think. They'll attack when we are the least prepared and when everyone's back is turned. Japan did it with pearl harbor and Al Quada did it with 9/11.
Sorry if I'm not making much sense though, I'm getting tired. I'm not very good when it comes to political discussions because sometimes I have trouble getting my point across.

They draw power from the time and date of their ritual attacks, and also, they need to announce it to the whole world through numerology and symbology.
