"But in the mornin' I'm leavin' making my way back to Cleveland so tonight I hope, that I will do just fine... and I don't see how you could ever be, anything but mine." -- Kenny Chesney

Actually, more like returning from Cleveland. We had a fun night playing "Cranium" and watching the new "Rent" movie. Rent, something I've surprisingly enjoyed for the music. There's Katy, smiling, and me drinking my NewCastle Brown ale like the beer snob I am (while they drink Smirnoff and peach schnapps and girly drinks). I unfortunately had my share of these sugary lactose-infested melted-blowpop-tasting fruity-to-mask-the-taste-of-alcohol winecooler-like fairy drinks after I ran out of my last couple NewCastles and had to improvise. I'm not a man who enjoys sweet things like candy and pop, let alone incredibly sweet head-ache inducing expensive feminine substitutes for beer. And unfortunately now, Katy has a picture of me drinking a watermelon Smirnoff, and she refuses to delete the evidence of my Judas-like betrayal to barley and hops. While in Cleveland I did manage to study somewhat extensively, by making lots and lots of Japanese flashcards.

私はとしょかんでべんきょしています、 あした日本語のテストをしますから。

See, you could read that if you had the proper language information installed. It says, (roughly) I am studying in the library right now because I have a test tomorrow. Though, the word order is more like, "I (topic) library (place) currently studying, tomorrow test Japanese (object) have/do because." (watashi wa toshokan de benkyoshiteimasu, ashita nihongo no testo o shimasukara.) Just email me if I made a mistake :). It's a fun language to study, and you get very used to the different grammar structure as you go along... that may seem awkward in English, but it's very natural in Japanese. Speaking of which, I have two exams tomorrow. One is in Japanese (surprise, surprise) and the other in Political Economy over some broad economic theories like Classicalism and Marxism. Then, on Tuesday I'll have a Geology test. This, however, will not stop me from putting on Star Trek Voyager and Family Guy right now.

And lastly but not leastly, my cousins new puppy... I love dogs so much. As you all are currently presently completely aware, I particularly love Huskies-- but every breed, including this beautiful black lab, will have a special place in my sappy, puppy-loving heart.
