So I am at work today, and there is this new girl there since I returned last week. I was out for about a month with a broken foot, so that isn't much of a surprise.
So remembering that most people say I am anti-social, I try to be nice and conversational with this female, and, as if in order to remind me why I am antisocial in the first place, I ended up getting this look: . Then as I am vacuuming as we close, it seems that Jenn (kaorudono) hears her talking to the store manager about how weird I am.
Now I am not denying that I am a complete weirdo, but damnit I made every attempt to be nice to this person and act someone socially acceptable. Ah well, at least she can't say I am not a nice weirdo. Bitch.

Yeah but that's the thing. I am perfectly happy being a complete weirdo. It is the normal people that scare me.

Ditto. If you're not a little crazy, at least, you won't get any respect from me.

Sounds annoying. Hope you're feeling better...
> Now I am not denying that I am a complete weirdo,
Good for you. Normal is boring.
I've never understood people who feel that they have to contribute to some kind of unspoken social norm - why would anybody do that? It's so limiting. I mean, if you're only speaking to people who are exactly like you, dressing the same as people who are exactly like you, and going to places where everyone who is exactly like you goes, then you're just BORING. And you could be missing out on so many things.

She doesn't sound like someone I'd want to be friends with anyway... guess you didn't miss out on much...

Here's my theory:
The majority of the population are meer sheep. They breed constantly providing plenty of wool (gov. funds and taxes) to the herders.
The herders are the 'leaders' who, at times, protect the sheep from wolves (the criminals) but fail to do so rather often. The wolves can sometimes disguise themselves as sheep (like in those Looney Toon cartoons) and move amongst them in guise.
Now there are a certain breed of sheep that refuse to move along with the herd and comply by the rules of nature. They are constantly trampled over by the other sheep and left out of the mainstream because of their 'anti-social' antics. They are ridiculed by the herders, and chased by the sheep dogs, simply because they are socially inept.
They are known as introverts.
But deep down into the core of reality, these sheep are the keepers of it. Just think, without them, the others will have no one to look down on, to 'trample over'.
Okay, I'll shut up now.

*applauds*
This is why over 50 people, including my ex, now refuse to speak to me. I didn't want to turn into yet another clone, so I stayed what I am... and when I bring up the topic of all of them acting and dressing the same, they laugh at me and tell me to leave.
I suddenly don't feel so bad for being a loner.
