This is driving me insane....I seem to remember this game (for the black and white old GB) having an actual SNES version of Space Invaders contained within the cartridge and playable when you insert it into a Super GameBoy, yet I can't find any pictures of it. I do remember seeing some years back in a magazine however.

Anyway, can anyone confirm this or not?

Hmm...

I know that when you put the GB game on the Super GameBoy, the game looks like a SNES game.

Yeah, I played it. I believe it just functioned as an SGB game (ie custom borders, etc) and had a game mode that only functioned through the SNES. Man, that takes me back.

Yeah, absolutely. I have a copy of it. :)
I have no idea which other games have SGB enhancements, though... I think there might have been a few other arcade games released around the time of Space Invaders that had special full-color modes only available on the SGB.

Good, so at least I'm not going crazy. <img src=smilies/magbiggrin.gif> Only other game I can remember with something approaching that is Donkey Kong '94, the girl actually said "Help!" instead of making that sound it usually made on the actual GB.
