Is there a program that allows me to update old versions of MAME roms to the new versions so I don't have to re-download the entire damn file?
I'm asking because some of my larger MAME roms are the outdated versions and I wanna convert them to the newer ones so I can play them on the latest version of MAME.

If the crc for the roms hasn't changed, all you need is something like romcenter or clrmamepro.
