View Full Version : 64th Note v1.0
I finally finalized version 1.0 of 64th Note, my Winamp USF plugin (and the only one of its kind for the moment). If you use 64th Note at all PLEASE UPGRADE, this is so very much stabler and the older versions don't support some sets properly (Mario Party, Excitebike 64, Mischief Makers, etc.).
I've also got complete versions of 18 USF sets that were previously "preliminary".

Yeah, at some point I'll update ZD's USF archive with this.

My only complain about your plugin is when searching in one song, it seems to be slow but then, it could be my PC.

Excellent...I've got some new USF sets to get too...like Jet Force and the final version of Mischief Makers. :)

It's slow for anyone, N64 emulation is very intensive! And if you seek backwards it has to restart from the beginning...

Some people had trouble in 1.0, under various circumstances, with the "Failed to Allocate N64MEM" error message popping up. Now I haven't heard back from all of them regarding v1.1 beta 1, which I think fixes it, but at least one person has reported success.

Man great plugin!! Ive been searching FOREVER for a way to play the original extreme G music outside of the emulator. And you've given me that way :D
Im using the 1.1 beta, seems great, except the F-Zero USF has some problems. Seems that the miniusf's are being read ok. But the only sound thats played is a poping sound like maybe 3 or 4 pops per second. Just thought you should know.
-EDIT-
I perused the readme and found that it works best in XMPlay with round fruency selected and VIOLA! it works. So disregaurd my previous problem.
