Is there a Plug-In to allow Winamp to play RealPlayer files?

That has absolutely NOTHING to do with playing RealPlayer files in WinAmp.

P.S. I read the first fucking sentence of the description.

That looks like it'll work, yes.

It recognizes my files, but I get only silence(and an error report to Microsoft if I try to convert them to MP3)

You asked for a RA plugin to play files in winamp not to convert/reencode to mp3. I wouldn't use winamp for that anyway.

What I'ld do is go to google with the search ra2mp3 or even rm2mp3. I imagine you could find an application that is much less bloated than winamp to do faster reencoding for free with a well thought out search.

I've used that, you're better off getting Real Alternative. I'm pretty sure that'll work with Real Audio as well as video.

Lies. Winamp is damn perfect for encoding NSF,SPC,PSF,etc to MP3

no, winamp is good to rip them out to .wav files, which you then use to re-encode into mp3 using lame from the command prompt with very specific settings.

Razorlame and Exact Audio Copy are the way to go for CD extraction.

with the right plugin MP3 encoding is just as customizable... and you don't have to convert twice, you can go straight to MP3

Here you go, it's a forum page *it's just a few replies*.

It names a few apps you can find using google.

For that program Steambox Ripper, that they say is gone because the copany was sued to death, I'ld recommend a P2P program to find it like limewire, kazaa, or whatever you use.

It would probably be illegal to post that file on a website or anywhere else that would make filesharing a great place to distribute that file away from anyone who didn't search for it by name.

Search for the term steambox on P2P and you'll probably find it if it's out there. Otherwise just use google to find the other programs suggested on that page.
