Be a busser or a server at a restaurant. Depending on where you go, you can make minimum wage plus tips. My last job averaged out to like $12 an hour (only $7 of which was taxed). I knew some servers that regularly raked in $100 a day just in tips... and the restaurant was actually a pretty slow place.

As long as you can read it.
You usually punch orders into a computer instead of handing the notes directly to the cook (at least it's like that at all the restaurants I go to). As long as you can write quickly, that's all that really matters.

hehe... it's your life - why do I have to trust you on this? The point is, I don't care what you do. I'm giving you advice from someone that knows how to get women to someone that is obviously struggling with the concept. And again - it all starts by NEVER thinking about it. Just living your life and becoming a cool person... and suddenly, you'll be somewhere and the right opportunity will come along and you'll be cool and there'll be some attraction between the two of you.
and after you're done practicing that with your mom for a couple years, you'll be ready for the real thing! hahah.. i jest Brad.

Brad, he's saying if you feel negative about stuff a woman will pick that up, a woman can smell unconfidence a mile away so you have to say " Fuckit, this is what I have, fuck what I don't, I don't need that shit". If you think you need a car and that doesn't work you'll say you need a fancy apartment, that doesn't work, drugs, nope, beer, nope.... ect ect, no matter what you get it won't help and you'll keep blaming it on stuff you don't have when the answer is to change your attitude about yourself. This means you have to believe your worth a shit and you don't do that now. You constantly down yourself and that's not a good thing to do, it distorts the self image you have of yourself and that is what people react to when they mean you, it's sometimes called an aura as in *he has an aura of strength about him*, it's your self confidence, you have to realize that you can control the way people think about you, don't go out and be obnoxious, just because your as good as them doesn't mean your better than them, just deserve to be treated respectfully and respect them, also don't start finding flaws in others to make yourself feel superior because it just takes your attention away from realizing your own flaws, you could try to put yourself in someone elses place before you type/say something, it slows you down a bit but it makes you think before you speak/reply, like my grandmother used to say "Engage brain then open mouth", it's good advise for anyone. I think you should try to do some of the things I've mentioned above, these lessons took me years and years to learn and it wasn't fun, write them down and reread them time to time, I had a much worse self esteem than you do, you remind me of myself at 23 years old and I felt I needed to tell you this stuff, you need help yourself because no one else will, and that's a fact. Take care Brad

Dude, I didn't get a car until I was almost 20. Still managed to get plenty of booty while living in a big city. Seriously dude, women look for confidence. Just play it off like it's no thing that you don't have a car and don't bring it up. You'll be set.

Okay, this is my general responce to all that was posted here:
First off, look for instituional food service. Believe me, it's easier than fast food, and pays better. I know from working both ends. Fast food [drawn out]BAD!![/drawn out]
Second, don't worry about the car just yet. Com'on, what do gas prices look like, and where are they going? You wanna pay for all that? Depending on how far it may be, consider getting a bike. You'll get where you need to go and get your exercise along the way. Just bring deordorant, or something. Trust me, this works too. And, depending on how crime's looking, consider personal defense stuff.
Third, get your self-esteem up. A man's sucess is not measured by the number of women he's had unless that is your measuring stick. Since that's seems to be what's getting you down, measure things by something else! Measure it by games you've beaten. Measure it by friends you have. Measure it how many folks care about you. Just make it something different.
Fourth, don't worry about the women right now. Once you get your own shit together, then start worrying about getting a date, not laid. Then, worry about hooking up, not getting laid. After that, worrying about getting more committed, not laid. Then, and only then, you should consider talking about gettin' some before you make any rash moves. Take this process one step at a time.
Hang tough, alright?

I tells ya, for a young person looking for a quick temporary income fix, a coffee shop with a drive-thru is where it's at. You'll make a coupla dollars ABOVE minimum wage, and at least $50/day in tips (untaxed). It doesn't hurt that typically you'll work with lots of college-age chicks, and that the view in the drive thru during the summer months is great when chciks come through for iced coffee on the way to the beach.
Of course, for bmecoli, that might be a problem. :-P

One step ahead of you. Institutionalized food service, you typically don't have to worry about that. You more often have to worry about the people so ugly you gotta take a second look just to verify you weren't seeing things. At least among co-workers.
Of course, the instiutionalized food service I'm at is a campus dining hall; specifically, I'm the guy who scoops the ice cream and hands out desert pastries. Very rare is the woman who doesn't like chocolate.

Right on. This idea may seem ridiculous, Brad, but I do it and I get by just fine. And let me tell you a secret: the best vehicle out there for attracting women is not some sports car, it's a tandem bicycle with an empty seat. I can personally verify this.
Even if you do have to go a long way to get to school or wherever, riding a bike really isn't that bad. Just find routes that avoid the worst traffic, and get fit enough to ride quickly. You also don't need a fantastic bike, just get something that's fast and energy efficient, which is easier to find than you might think. My old-school 1974 Schwinn 10 speed road bike and I get by just fine.

Dude, I'm at Ohio University at Athens. I'm quite pleased with the eye-candy here, and unless I go to California or something, and maybe even then, I'll be hard-pressed to find this many women this hot.
You should've been here last fall, for Halloween. I'm not making this up; this is real. Every year at Athens, we have the Halloween Block Party the Saturday of the week of Halloween. One of my friends who just came here from Texas had heard about the Block Party. This last year, the Girls Gone Wild crew came out, and distributed beads in exchange for flashing the camera, or some other lewd responce.

but that wasn't a prank...that's like you hiding your own condoms somewhere and when you finally get a chance to get laid, you can't find them.
now...getting arrested and giving up your website to the government...THAT is pure comedy

For a prank to work, the OTHER PERSON HAS TO HAVE A FUCKING STAKE IN IT. No one gives a FUCK if you make a whiny post about a quite likely occurance.
Hurray for yet another embarassing post. You must like the verbal abuse.

God help me. Brad Mecoli just called me a fucking idiot. That must make it true. As for being blind? No. I think I see a few things a lot clearer than you do.
> look at the first few posts... it shows people reccomending
> wat I should do next.... and most of the thread consisted

You know, most of your posts consist of either your asshatted attempts to get women. Now about he advice. It doesn't fucking matter that people gave you advice. Actually, it makes it all the stupider, because there's no sense of relief when they find out you didn't lose your job, because they have no stake in it. So when you reply, there's not that sense of relief that makes a good prank good. They just wasted some friendly advice on someone most of them know god-damn well doesn't take it.
>
> don't give a fuck?? yeah sure whatever... moron

Actually, this post pissed me off, so on some level I personally give a fuck. If my mIRC window is any indictation, this post received the scorn of a few other people as well, so I guess they give a fuck on some level too. But that's not the kind of fuck I'm talking about giving. I'm talking about the kind of fuck that's worth a flying fuck.
You may need to re-read the above paragraph over and over again until you grasp the true meaning, as well as the subtleties. You seem to have a problem with subtlety.

Lighten up. It was April Fool's Day. The day when people are expected to be cruel and unusual to others. You shouldn't take anything completely serious on April 1st...

May I ask why you chose making a comment to me over, say, JadussD? I was pointing out a fact - no matter what the day, saying something of the such would almost guarentee piss people off. It's like crying wolf.

yeah, really. with me it was like:
me: i saw the water polo sticker on your car... were you in polo?
alex: no, its my sister's car
me: ah, k.
*later*
alex: my sister wont let me use her car anymore
me: ah, that sucks. well, i dont have a car either. wanna ride the bus home with me to my place?
alex: k :)
me: yay!
i miss riding the bus with him. we could just sit there and talk and fall asleep on eachother's shoulders. it was nice. now that he has a car, we're still going to take the bus a lot.

SO TRUE!!! Many of you guys have seen my boyfriend... there are plenty of guys who are better looking than he is, but i wouldnt trade him for the most handsome guy i in the world. even while i was married and totally avoiding so much as checking other guys out, there was always something about alex, but i couldnt put my finger on it. it made me actually check him out whenever he'd walk by. he had this energy. he's got so much confidence in himself... that alone makes him so attractive. it's the good kind of confidence, though... not the "i'm better than everyone else" kind. he's very comfortable with who he is and the decisions that he makes. that is SOOO attractive.

I used to walk everywhere with my girlfriend way back when. We'd like go to Boston, and take the subway back to our city, but instead of taking the bus home (it went right past both our houses), we'd just walk home and talk. It was great, we got to spend more time with eachother, and that segment of our time together wasn't surrounded with any "pretentious" date kinda stuff. Very cool.

hahaha yeah alex used to sport what his friends and people at work refer to as "the mexican mullet". it wasnt really a mullet, he was just growing his hair out. right before we started going out he cut it, though... and he's growing it out again. i cant help but think of how long it would have been if he hadnt cut it... i've never been with someone who had long hair before... i'm looking forward to it :)
