I am in desparate need of some Star Fox sounds. I need the sounds that the characters make when they talk to you. Not Fox or Peppers though, just your allies.
Slippy: Dip Dibbit, dip dibbit.
Falco: W-w-ween gambit
Peppy: Nya nya nyit. Nya nya nyit.
I have tried using Snessor to rip them but those particular ones don't show up. Someone please help!!! Any information will do!!!!

Mute sound channels in your favorite SNES emulator until you're able to isolate the channel that those effects play through. Set your soundcard software mixer to record from the wave channel, and then record the resulting sounds with your favorite audio recording software.
Simple, no?

It's simpler to dump an spc when they are talking, and we_out 'em on winamp :).

A util such as Snessor MAY work as well, but I doubt it in this case since the sound is prolly more than one sample.

If I mute the sound channels on ZSNES and capture an SPC, will that SPC only contain the sounds for the unmuted channels?
Also, how do you mute sound channels using ZSNES? I couldn't find a way.
I have SPC's but with the music in the background and I'm not WinAmp savvy enough to accurately isolate the "Dip dibbits".

The spc dump will still have all the sound chanels IIRC. All you have to do is getting SnesAmp, having the playing controls for it enabled, start messing with channels again until you find it. Then you would go to the file proporties inside the playlist editor, and disable all the same channels (you have to do this here again, because that way is specific for the file - that is, everytime you play it, it will have those channels muted).. Once you are set, you se your output plagin to Nullsoft Diskwriter, and play the file.
Also - Snessor has always given me issues with tempo, which is why I hardly use it.

"STARFOX 64 QUOTES HAVE BEEN DISCONTINUED!"
Sorry. The only one I could remember from SF64 was "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" from the first boss.
